Personality. Ryuichi is like a big ball of energy. He's hyper, childish, kind and can be loud. He likes food, especially candy and ice cream (though that's not REALLY food). He's always happy to be with the people he really cares about, often giving them huge glomps when he first sees them. On the other hand, he can be serious, especially when it comes to his job. Despite his kindness, he can be somewhat of an egotistical and selfish jerk. He can be easily irritated, shouting or complaining when he can't do something he wants to do. If he wants something badly enough, he'll try to get it. He's bad at Japanese, English being his strong point. His best friend is his pink stuffed animal bunny, Kumagaro.

History. A few years after Nittle Grasper being reunited, they have taken a break. Ryuichi had left the music business to become an actor. After being an actor for 2 years, he came to a conclusion that he had enjoyed being in the music business much more than acting. So, he's decided he'd make a comeback, and not only start singing solo again, but teach students about music. Ryuichi thought New York would be the perfect place, considering he'd been there many times and enjoyed it.

Introduction to Music. Music is an art form that involves organized sounds and silence. It can be classified as a performing art, a fine art, or an auditory art form. This course will go over the history, aspects, performance, composition, among several other things in music. Will be held in the Spring, Summer (8-week), Fall and Winter quarters.
Performing Art: Music. As an academic discipline, music focuses on two career paths: music performance (orchestra and concert hall) and music education (training music teachers). Not only will students learn to play instruments, but they will also learn and study music theory, musicology, history of music and composition. For those students whose primary focus is not on music, this class can be used to broaden their skills by teaching concentration and listening. Will be held in Fall and Winter.
✖ Sign up for one or both of those classes here.
